Lighting Essentials and Projection Mapping. Level 1 & 2 Workshops in Development!
In recent years I have been developing workshops that target both students interested in lighting and/or video for live production as well as their teachers. The Lighting workshops approach Leveraging the visualizers in MA3 and EOS lighting console softwares to preprogram and/or visualize production concepts to share with the creative and marketing teams early in process. This is accomplished through the .MVR workflow.
The Projection Mapping workshop targets elevating from basic projections in productions at this level to mapped, matted, and and masked images that fit your space and the design. It explores the use of Adobe After Effects for generating real time mapping; however, it also provides insight into how to approach mapping without such paid resources. There's alot out there and it's pretty exploration friendly.Exploration of AI in the Creative Workflow
Recently, I've developed a series of workshop/seminars that I've brought to High Schools at the Wyoming State Thespian Festival as well as Colorado Thespians Festival.
This workshop discusses the potential ethical use of Ai in the creative team, if any, and what are the major factors each artist must consider as Ai becomes more integrated into our workflows as production specialists.
